Studio and office
The reception desk is the first thing a client sees. Give it a piece they ask about, and keep the shelves for the slim ones.

What a studio asks of its light
- Mood
- One object with a past in a clean, modern room. It says something about you before anyone talks.
- Sightlines
- Reception desks, meeting tables and shelves: places seen from the door and from the sofa.
- Practicalities
- These are mood pieces, not desk task lights. Small footprints, and the table pieces plug into a normal socket.
Rules of thumb from how we light these pieces. Ask us what we’d do in your room.
The shortlist
Every piece shown at close to the same size, so the details are easy to compare. The real sizes are under each one.

Where to put it
General rules of thumb, not our measurements. Your designer or electrician should confirm heights and wiring for your room.
Reception
Reception desks take one table piece, at the end, away from the screen.
Shelves
Shelves take pieces under 60 cm.
Corners
Floor pieces go in corners, out of the walking line.
Task light
These set the mood of a room. Pair them with your normal lighting.
One Object, One Venue
Does your place already have its object?
- The agency’s first typewriter.
- A founder’s old drawing-board lamp.
- The studio’s retired camera.
Examples to show the idea, not past projects.
We can turn it into the room’s own light, one of one like everything here.
Fitting out a studio or office?
Tell me about the room. I’ll write back with the pieces that fit, their prices and a time to see them lit at the studio.
