Thor's Hammer (Hammer #1)

Once a hammer, now a table lamp.

The switch sits at the end of the handle and the wiring runs inside the hammer, so nothing shows.

The practical bits

Availability

This one has found its home. Bring an object of your own and I can make one like it: start a commission. Or ask me, I may already be working on something similar.

Wiring and safety

I rewire every piece with new cables and sockets. Plugs into a normal socket.

Care

Dust with a dry cloth. The patina is part of the piece, so please don’t polish the original object. Made in my studio at Frankfurter Allee 6, Berlin.

One of the drills and tools

The whole shelf, all 50

Drills and hammers, each one of one, that belong together on a workshop wall or a bar. Each one is picked, taken apart and wired by hand; together they can light one room.

Have an object like this at home?

Come with your own nostalgic objects, ideas and dreams. I’ll tell you honestly if it can become a light.
